Copper Plating

At Spacecoast Plating & Metal Refinishing we use copper plating in a wide range of automotive, motorcycle, marine, and aircraft applications. Copper can be used as accent on parts but is a soft metal and requires a clear coat or protective finish to maintain the shiny copper brilliance and prevent oxidation.

Copper can also be plated with other metals that are even more more resistant to wear or tarnish, such as chromium and nickel. In this case, the brightness of the copper undercoat enhances the appearance of the nickel and chrome finish.
